Take in-orbit services: logistics, refueling, and maintenance of assets already deployed. Space has no roadside assistance: when something breaks and there's no way to diagnose or repair it, the asset gets scrapped and a new one gets launched. Fuel is the same constraint from another angle. A trip to Mars takes six to nine months today, not because of distance, but because spacecraft coast most of the way with the engines off. Build the refueling and servicing infrastructure, and that math changes: sustained thrust the whole way could cut months down to days/weeks. That's one of the promising layers we're watching, and it's moving fast.
